11.15.07 MRAC is Conducting a Blanket drive

As winter approaches and temperatures dip, there are many people living in our community who are in desperate need of our warmth, and our blankets! So MRAC is again working for those in need by collecting new or clean, gently-used blankets.

If you would like to contribute to the blanket drive, please drop off your donations on December 1st or January 5th at the Marietta Sixth Grade Academy from 9:00 am until Noon.

These blankets will be donated to MUST Ministries to share with those persons who come to the mission for assistance. While we can’t eradicate homelessness, we can demonstrate the unconditional love of our heavenly father, we can show our concern and we can bring them hope.

The PAMH committee thanks EveryBODY in advance who Moves to help the less fortunate in our community.

 

10.27.07 Atlanta Delta's banned together to register voters throughout the city. The Political Awareness and Involvement Committees of the metro atlanta chapters hosted this joint effort to ensure the community is empowered to voice their decisions in the political process.

10.18.07 MRAC adopts 16 families for the Christmas Season

Marietta-Roswell Delta's will again host our 20th annual Christmas Store celebration to make this season bright! We are happy to celebrate the season with 16 families with 36 children with a day filled by a Christmas Feast, Carols, & many suprises throughout the day on Saturday, Dec. 1st, 2007 at the Marietta Sixth Grade Academy .

9.22.07 Delta Academy & Delta GEMS Mentoring Programs Kicked Off. The annual Orientation program was held at S. Cobb Community Center and attended by a large number of families excited to have their girls in are signature mentorship programs.
