A Message from Our President

Greetings on behalf of the Marietta-Roswell Alumnae Chapter (MRAC); one of the largest chapters located in the Dynamic Southern Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The Sorority, a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world, has a membership of more than 200,000 women in the United States and abroad dedicated to public service through our Five-Point Programmatic Thrusts.

Our 800 plus member chapter, chartered in 1986 by twenty-one visionary women, is united in sisterhood to provide impactful public service to the citizens and communities of Cobb, Cherokee and North Fulton Counties in the areas of educational and economic development, physical and mental health, political awareness and social action involvement and international awareness. Our signature programs include Scholarships for young women; a bi-annual Debutante Cotillion; an annual Teen Forum, Health Fair and Community Empowerment Summit; and Delta GEMS and Academy- two programs focused on female youth, ages 9-17. Please bookmark our website to stay informed!

We are a chapter that believes in the power of collaboration and partnership with individuals and organizations that align with our purpose. If you are interested in working with us on civic-minded programs, contact us at president@dstmrac.com.
