2022 Keynote Speaker
Cynthia Jones Parks is president and CEO of Jones Worley, an Atlanta-based marketing communications firm she founded in 1990.
Parks has a national reputation for outstanding work in marketing, strategic branding, wayfinding, signage design and creative solutions. She’s carved a niche in the transportation industry where her clients include more than 50 transportation authorities from California to Florida.
Always a trailblazer, Parks was the only African-American female owned firm on the team that branded and designed the “Look” of the Centennial Olympic Games. Jones Worley has branded and launched more transit fare collection programs than any firm in North America, an expertise that began with the “Breeze” card for the MARTA.
Jones Worley’s portfolio of projects for global-reaching Fortune 1000 corporations includes The Coca-Cola Company, Turner Entertainment, Chick-fil-A, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Parks was recognized as a small business leader in transportation with a Celebrating Women Who Move the Nation Award from the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO). She is the first African American named a Lifetime Fellow by the Atlanta Chapter of AIGA, the Professional Association for Design, for promoting excellence in the field.
Parks is also honored to have been invited to serve on the 2020 SEGD Global Design Awards jury – who seeks jurors who exemplify extraordinary design vision, perspective, and experience and includes voices from across the globe.
